Description: Use this tool to pull small volunteer trees up, roots and all. Helps to have moist soil first. Works well with privets, holly trees, oaks, some fruit trees. Takes a bit of practice with some fruit trees but is fun to see the whole tree pulled out without digging a hole and not using much muscle.
Diane Bryden's Personal Story: There are many bird or squirrel planted trees in my yard. I have removed about 100 trees over the past 2 years. Trees need to be about an eighth to a quarter inch diameter to pull up without breaking the trunk. I've removed trees that were 3 or 4 ft tall above ground and maybe 10ft in length including the root.
