Have you ever come across someone who happened to rub you the wrong way? If you have, chances are, it’s actually not that person whose stirring up the animosity. Believe it or not, but there is someone else behind the strife, the real enemy, and he may be using that person who is bothering you in order to get a foot in the door of your life.
You see, the reality is that there is a spiritual war going on, and as a Christian you need to know this and act accordingly.
There Is a Spiritual Realm
The truth is that most Believers have taken the humanistic point of view on life. This means that they don’t look to the spiritual side of things that happen to them and around them.
They seem to glance over the fact that there is a spiritual realm that is the foundation of everything and is much more real than the natural realm.
You Have Power
God says that your thoughts and words have power. What you say and do is the most significant representation of your authority here on earth. The point is that you’ll be manipulated, influenced, and governed by whomever you give yourself to whether that is God or the devil.
The Book of Ephesians has excellent insight on this. Look at what it says in Ephesians 6:10-12 KJV, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
Believe God For Big Things
Are you looking for a breakthrough in your marriage? Do you want a promotion at your job? All these things happening in life come down to spiritual laws and walking in accordance with them.
You are to use the authority that God has given you to assist you in them coming to pass. You are to step out in faith, believing God, and working with Him in the areas you’re seeking Him about, or things won’t manifest right. It may seem simple, but it really does come down to a Christian not realizing they have authority over these areas in their life.
It’s Up To You
The Bible says in Matthew 10:8 that if Christians in a local church don’t do their part, then things will simply not happen. It appears that they are getting the message. American churches such as Bethel, in Redding, CA, as well as Pneuma Church in Canada, are responding to their God-given authority and are taking action.
It doesn’t matter how much whining and complaining occurs. God has given Believers His Word to live by and the authority that comes with that.
Now is the best time to discover how to live in this authority that God has given His children. It’s time to find out and begin to exercise that God-given authority.
Now Is The Time
It’s time to take this authority and place doubt aside. It’s time to step out in faith and begin declaring over the situation what God says about it.
Set aside the belief that whatever happens, just happens. God is sovereign, but He has given dominion to man here on earth. God has given each person their own will. It’s up to each person to obey and follow the Lord’s lead.
God is not to blame. He is good. It’s time to believe Him like never before and expect miracles to happen.
